Ian Loynd is a teacher, school leader, governor, author, educational consultant and trainer.
Ian is Assistant Headteacher at a large comprehensive school in Cardiff. His passion for school improvement is helping to transform education on the east of the city where Ian has managed a new school building project; a £25m venture between Cardiff Council and the Church in Wales.
Prior to his current role in managing educational change, Ian worked in pastoral leadership as Director of Studies and as a secondary mathematics teacher. He works regularly alongside teachers, students, parents and community groups as a speaker and trainer. Ian's first book, The Perfect Maths Lesson, is a practical and common-sense guide that can help every teacher to be outstanding and appear to walk on water!
If you are looking for ideas to breathe new life into your school or top tips to gain that illusive 'outstanding' judgement, you'll find plenty in Ian's no-nonsense workshops. Find out more about how Ian can help you by clicking here.
